Using your Calling Card

Our International Pre-Paid Calling Cards are available in R25, R50 and R80 denominations. These cards allow you access to all our international destinations at the lowest prices.

Making a Call:

By calling our local access numbers you are connected directly to our international network. Follow these three easy steps to make your call

  1. Enter your User ID :[12345678]
  2. Enter You Password:[1234]
  3. Dial the number required, leaving off the [09] international prefix:

Checking your Balance & Records:

After you have entered in the International Number to dial, your balance will be read out to you. Alternatively you can check your balance and Call Detail Records from www.hippocom.co.za by clicking on “Calling Card Login” on the home page. You will be asked to enter your User ID and Password on the next page


Recharging your Card:

Your card can be recharged by depositing money into our Bank Account and informing us via email or telephone. Recharge vouchers are available in R40 and R80 increments. Please use your User ID as a reference when depositing money.

Alternatively you can call us during office hours and use your credit card to recharge.

Validity of your Card:

Your calling card is valid for 3 months from date of first call or 3 months from date of last recharge.
